The 2008 World Cycling Champion Alessandro Ballan was the guest of honour at the opening of the Ca’ Pasquali section, which completes the entire construction of the longest cantilevered bicycle path in Europe. The work was completed at the end of July and the path will be fully accessible in the coming months. Built on a suspended structure for 6.5 of its total 8.5 kilometres, the path overlooks…

The Councillor for Tourism, Alessandro Ballarin What is the added value of Cavallino-Treporti that makes its brand so strong? “Cavallino-Treporti is a blue and green location, with a strong environmental vocation that stems from a specific political choice: to enhance green areas, maintain a low skyline and protect the open air. These elements not only represent an identity resource, but also outline a clear vision for the future of the area. The environmental focus is also recognised from a tourism perspective, thanks to a model of widespread accommodation immersed in nature, such as the open-air experience.” The cantilevered bicycle path…

A festival linked to local traditions, with the flavours of the region’s food and wine. This is the basis for the famous Tempeston festival, scheduled for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of September, in the churchyard of Santa Maria Elisabetta, in Cavallino. The festival is organised by the Contrada di Cavallino in collaboration with the Pro Loco. The stands will be…
