A competitive race to admire the colours of autumn
Some will take advantage of the opportunity to go for a run, others will walk, and others will take lots of photos. However, everyone will be united by a single goal: to admire the colours of the territory, with the excuse of a race. This is the “Lagoon Run”, an event organised by Asd Litorale Runner, in collaboration with various local organisations, for Sunday 2nd of November. Registrations are already open at various points throughout Cavallino-Treporti (with a maximum of 700 participants). The non-competitive 11-kilometre race will start at 10 a.m. from Piazzale Saccagnana; with participants meeting at 8 a.m. so that any additional registrations can be collected (parking is available nearby). The route will pass through Lio Piccolo, reaching the Al Notturno restaurant, where the embankment will be reopened especially for the occasion, and will then continue to the Agriturismo Le Saline before returning.
Although not competitive, prizes will be awarded to the largest groups and the first three finishers.
