An awareness-raising evening focusing on health and safety.
‘Summer Festival – Focus on Health and Safety’ is the name of the new event scheduled for Friday 31st of July, from 6.30 pm, and is organised by the municipality of Cavallino-Treporti in collaboration with Pro Loco, the ULSS4 Veneto Orientale Health Authority and Amici del Paviner. Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta, in the heart of Cavallino, and Via Faitema will host this important awareness-raising event. For the occasion, the entire area will be transformed into a fair dedicated to prevention, with demonstrations and activities organised by law enforcement agencies, healthcare professionals and first-aid volunteers. ULSS4 and the Croce Verde will offer practical sessions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway clearance techniques and health education initiatives, whilst the SERD (Addiction Health Service) mobile unit will provide advice and information on the risks of addiction and driving. There will also be a focus on local council projects for urban safety, ranging from Neighbourhood Watch schemes to road safety education. The food and beverage stall will open at 6 pm.
