A new booking service launched by Actv
For all bicycle enthusiasts of the Venetian coast, there’s some great news – a real treat from Actv (the local public transport service): a new portal for booking bicycle transport on Line 14 (Punta Sabbioni–Lido di Venezia) and Line 11 (Chioggia–Pellestrina). A perfect service for cycle tourists wishing to explore the area.
The booking service is free of charge, and you can book a bike space even the last minute, with a limit of 4 bicycles per journey. The ticket price per bicycle per journey is €1.50.
Booking guarantees boarding (subject to safety requirements at the captain’s discretion)

On Line 11, holders of the Venezia Unica card with a priority profile have priority boarding for their bikes. The booking does not replace the ticket, which remains mandatory.
Please note that Actv tickets for bicycles can also be purchased at the IAT offices in Punta Sabbioni and Cavallino.
