Beach on Fire
We simply must begin by mentioning the date of the event par excellence, Beach on Fire, which will take place on Saturday, 22nd of August. The world’s longest fireworks display will begin at 10.30 pm, with over six thousand fireworks illuminating, in perfect synchronisation, the thirteen kilometres of coastline from Punta Sabbioni to the Cavallino lighthouse.
Palio Remiero
Celebrating the ancient bond between the local area and the lagoon. This is the essence of the fascinating Palio Remiero, scheduled for Saturday, 27th and Sunday, 28th of June, now in its 24th edition, along the Pordelio Canal.
Running at Sunset
On 27th of June, the Sunset Run takes place, a non-competitive run at sunset organised by Litorale Runner. The event offers a picturesque route along the cycle path jutting out over the lagoon. Info: www.lagoonrun.it
