New research at the archaeological site in the well-known village of Cavallino-Treporti. This is the fourth excavation campaign at Lio Piccolo, conducted by the Humanities Department of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. In July, investigations resumed on the submerged site of the ancient lagoon village. The excavation, directed by Professor Carlo Beltrame, assisted by Elisa Costa, began in and was funded in 2022.
