World debut for the acrobatic theatre Official Show of the city of Venice
Actors, acrobats, musicians and multidisciplinary performers immersed in dreamlike, rarefied universes. From July until October 13th, from Thursday to Sunday at 7 p.m., the stage of the Teatro Goldoni will host the world premiere of Titizé – A Venetian Dream, the official show of the city of Venice co-produced by the Teatro Stabile del Veneto-Teatro Nazionale with the Compagnia Finzi Pasca, in partnership with Gli Ipocriti Melina Balsamo.
An acrobatic performance for a theatrical expression based on wonder and amazement, which becomes an essential corollary for those who choose to visit the lagoon city from all over the world.
The work is written and directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, one of the founding members of the troupe which carries the same name based in Lugano, Switzerland, that produced, in its 40 years of international activity, more than 40 shows, including 3 Olympic ceremonies, 2 shows for Cirque du Soleil and 8 operas. Their shows have graced the stages of some 600 theatres and festivals in 46 countries around the world, to over 15 million spectators.
With a cast of eleven talented performers, including acrobats, actors and musicians, Titizé invites you to immerse yourself in the essence of Venice, where past and present mingle in a single fascinating tale and the stories, scattered like shells on the beach, each with its own beauty and mystery, recombine.
Tickets from 20 to 50 euros.
