The Litorale Jazz Festival returns to Cavallino Treporti, from July 21st to the 27th for a week of great music. The event, organised by the cultural associations L@ RETE and CT-Bandland, features free concerts in Piazza Papa Giovanni Paolo II, with a programme ranging from Mediterranean Jazz to Latin Brazilian, from Blues to Jazz Fusion. With guest artists of international scope, the festival celebrates the meeting of cultures and generations, turning the coastline into a must-see destination for fans of the genre. All events will start at 9 p.m., with free admission.
FUN FACTS.
In the past, the festival has hosted world-renowned artists such as pianist Antonio Faraò and bassist Mat thew Garrison. This year’s performers include ‘Aglio, Olio e Swing’, a band capable of immerging us in a refined and captivating atmosphere, inspired by the classics of Italian music from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s but reworked in the gypsy jazz tradition. In the year of the pandemic, one of their singles entitled ‘Quarantena’, a swing satire on a complicated period, became viral.
