First of all, the Blue Flag, awarded to Cavallino-Treporti by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) for the quality of its water and the services offered on the beach.
Then the Green Flag, awarded by Italian paediatricians to those resorts suitable for families and children. Once again both flags are waving over our coastline.
THE COLOURS OF SAFETY
Let’s not forget the flags that help tourists understand when it is safe to bathe. Cavallino-Treporti is one of the first Italian beaches to implement a new regulation on water safety signalling. There are three colours: green, favourable conditions; yellow, warning; red, bathing prohibited.
