The Venetian Song Festival on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of August in Treporti.
Three evenings of music, culture, and lagoon tradition to celebrate the music, culture, and roots of this land. This is the essence of the fourth edition of the Festival della Canzone Veneziana (Venetian Song Festival), to be held from the 29th to 31st of August, in Piazza SS. Trinità, Treporti, at 9 pm, with free admission.
Organised by the L@ Rete association, with the contribution and patronage of the municipality, this fourth edition of the festival aims to highlight another artistic figure from the area: Lina Chiusso.
On Friday the 29th, “Semplicemente Lina”. A journey through the life and songs of the Treporti-born singer who conquered the Italian stages in the 1970s.
On Saturday 30th, Ska-J presents “Furio 40”. A mix of ska, reggae and irony with Marco “Furio” Forieri, the historic founder of Pitura Freska.
On Sunday 31st, ‘Voci di Laguna – Voga e Va’. Concert by “Voci di Laguna”, led by singer Monica Giori, with a group of musicians and performers.
