I’ve practically always lived in this area. But at certain times of the year I like to consider myself a tourist. Imagine or try to feel as you cross the bridge and get in touch with what will also become “your” city for a few days.
I am thinking, for example, of the services that can be found in tourist accommodation, especially in campsites (which make Cavallino-Treporti the European capital of open-air tourism).
I identify with the emotions that tourists feel when they ride, for example, along the cantilevered cycle path along Pordelio, unique in the world; or by visiting one of the many enchanting spots in the Lagoon and perhaps catching the sunset moment; or at a show on the beach or in one of the squares; not to mention enjoying the excellent food and wine of this area.
After this empathy exercise, I come to the conclusion: You couldn’t have picked a better holiday.
