The charm of a meadow in bloom. The extraordinary beauty of colours filling gardens and flower beds. This is how we usually imagine the arrival of the warm season, this is how we think of our ideal spring. Yet, the blossoming does not only affect lawns, but also shrubs and trees.
Not to mention that the month of May is the central month of spring, in which the flower season reaches its aesthetic peak. And it is precisely in May that trees bloom.
The blossoming starts with the white and festive blooming of plum trees and continues with that of cherry trees, willows and poplars. Also in May, there’s the cyclamen-coloured blossoming of Judas trees, followed by the white Robinias and the Horse chestnuts. After those it will be the turn of Liriodendrons and the large evergreen Magnolias, followed by the blue-flowered Paulownias that will embellish parks and gardens, while the Japanese Pagoda tress will only blossom in July.
