Mesole is a district of Cavallino-Treporti, inhabited since 1300, known both for the extraordinary lagoon environment that surrounds it and for the homonymous convent. The convent of the Mesole is one of the most ancient buildings of the area, built in 1380 and ecclesiastic property.
The architecture of the settlements tells about an ancient history. The enchanting road leading to this rural village seems suspended among the lagoon water mirrors. Once you passed the Valle Sacchetta, there are vegetable gardens and orchards all around you, a small oratory of the 17th century – dedicated from the 19th century to S. Maria del Carmine – and the convent ,characterized by the large fireplace that protrudes from the building and has on the top a big quadrangular chimney.
