Cavallino-Treporti writes a new chapter in its history of international success.
Against the backdrop of Messe Stuttgart, during the 2026 PiNCAMP Awards ceremony, the “Capital of Open Air” reaffirmed its undisputed leadership in the European outdoor tourism sector. The highlight of the trip to Germany was the Superplatz awards presented by the ADAC Campingführer, the sector’s most authoritative guide: no fewer than 10 sites received the highest score for the excellence of their services. Nine awards were also presented by the ANWB (the Royal Dutch Automobile Club) to campsites that stand out for the high quality of their facilities, services and hospitality.
Cavallino-Treporti is the most popular beach in the Veneto region in terms of visitor numbers and consistently ranks among the top six national tourist destinations in absolute terms.
“Year after year, Cavallino-Treporti proves itself to be Europe’s most beloved and highly regarded destination for outdoor tourism, and at this year’s PiNCAMP Awards 2026, we have won more awards than ever before,” comments Mattia Enzo, president of the Cavallino-Treporti Tourist Park Consortium. “The two key indicators – namely the enduring affection of our guests, which translates into millions of visitors, and the prestige of the industry awards – tell us that we are on the right track.”
“Cavallino-Treporti,” comments Assocamping president Francesco Berton, “represents a standard of excellence in tourism recognised throughout Europe. Our area, nestled between the sea and a lagoon that is unique in the world, offers unrivalled hospitality capable of transforming a holiday into an experience made up of unforgettable memories. Our aim is to continue on this path of constant growth, placing a focus on listening to our guests at the heart of our strategy.”
