During fashion week Chloé probably ushered in the great comeback of a style that started in the 1970s, then returned in the early 2000s and will perhaps reaffirm itself in 2024 after a long hiatus. We’re talking about Boho-chic, which is a mix between hippy and bohemian styles.
What most represents this style are certainly ethnic and floral prints, lace, fringes, suede boots, soft, light and fluttering fabrics, maxi accessories, and long dresses and skirts with special textures.
Boho-chic is a rebellion against quiet luxury and the much more rigid fashion that harks back to the 1950s and 1960s. After all, boho-chic is a child of the mentality of the 1970s, when a strong desire for freedom and detachment from the traditions and conventions of the previous years was born.
