Veneto is a land of primary wine production, with its great red wines, the freshness of its white wines, the sweetness of its passiti (dessert wines) and the gracefulness of its bubbles. But it is also a land of production of gastronomic excellences that find in these wines natural and exalting pairings. Meat products include Berico-Euganean ham, to be accompanied by a Durello classic method, or Vicenza soppressa with a Breganze Bianco. Among the cheeses, Asiago Dop to be enjoyed with a Valpolicella or a Ripasso, depending on maturation. Casatella Trevigiana with a Manzoni Bianco and Montasio in its more mature version with a Venegazzù. To close with the cheeses, His Majesty the Monteveronese, which courts the famous Amarone.
