At the Batteria Amalfi, two great shows featuring Puccini and Wolf-Ferrari.
The “Un Paese all’Opera” project returns—an artistic and social initiative launched in 2009 that brings together professionals and local residents in the staging of its productions.
A mini opera festival will take place at the Batteria Amalfi, featuring two performances: “Tosca” by Giacomo Puccini on Wednesday 15th of July at 9:00 pm, and “Il segreto di Susanna” by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari on 29th of July, marking the 150th anniversary of the Venetian composer’s birth.
Another highlight is the innovative production directed by Federica Zagatti Wolf-Ferrari, which, through videomapping, will transform the historic fortification into an immersive stage setting.
Performing will be the Orchestra Regionale Filarmonia Veneta, conducted by Marco Paladin, together with the Coro Polifonico Ars Nova.
Every summer, the event attracts residents and visitors from across the Veneto region, confirming its place as one of the coast’s leading cultural events.
Tickets: available online via Vivaticket, at Agenzia Leotours (Via Fausta 403/C, Cavallino), Erboristeria Natura e Salute (Via Fausta 94, Ca’ Savio), and at the box office on the evening of the performance from 6:00 pm.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Cavallino IAT Tourist Office.
