Today we visit the Righetto family, who come from the the province of Vicenza.

We are welcomed, with a big smile, by Lorenzo and Emma, grandfather and granddaughter. She is 14 years old and is an outgoing, sunny girl who has a very good relationship with her grandparents. Since she was born, they have been spending their summer holidays together camping, as they did with their daughters Eliana and Ilaria before she was born.
Annalisa and Lorenzo, when Eliana, Emma’s mother, found herself in difficulty after a serious illness, were able to create a protected nest for their granddaughter and daughter in which they could both experience a semblance of normality. Eliana, despite being advised against camping, wanted a place for the 5-year-old girl that was familiar and controlled, where she could find her way on her own and had many friends to protect her.
And so, a few days after being discharged from the hospital, against the doctors’ advice, Eliana was already camping with her daughter at the Ca’ Pasquali campsite under the watchful eyes of her grandparents and great-grandmother. All living in the Moira, as they named their caravan, reminiscent of the Orfei circus, full of colour and good humour.
Once again, meeting our ambassadors, people that Cavallino-Treporti wanted as its best representative, enriched us and made us get to know some special people. The courage and strength of a whole family made a story of suffering an example of resilience.
