Borgo di Lio Piccolo, Cavallino-Treporti
Two days of celebration in the heart of the lagoon to honour the jujube, a well-known fruit cultivated in Lio Piccolo.
On Saturday 13 September, at 7.00 p.m., a candlelit dinner will take place in the village square, organised by the Associazione Borgo di Lio Piccolo. Participation is by reservation only. Reservations are not yet open.
On Sunday 21 September, starting at 10.00 a.m., the traditional Jujube Festival returns, with a craft and local product market, food stands, live music and convivial moments in the open air. At 10.30 a.m., the exhibition “Making the Lagoon, Making in the Lagoon: communities and resources between Lio Piccolo and Altino” by Daniela Cottica, Annalisa Marzano and Diego Colaon will be inaugurated at the Lio Piccolo Exhibition Centre.
Please note: on Saturdays, Sundays and public holiday eves, a ZTL (limited traffic zone) is active in Lio Piccolo. Access by motor vehicles is not allowed. We recommend reaching the village by bicycle.
