Finally, on July 20th, the most eagerly awaited film of the year came out in cinemas: Barbie.
Thanks to the many expectations that have been created around this production, a trend has developed that makes us see the world all in pink. Barbie has invaded all social platforms and awoke in everyone the desire to adopt the style of “real fiction”, eccentric, glittery and excessively fake.
But there is more.
What the film wants to highlight is an interpretation of Barbie that no longer sees her as an unattainable and perfect icon, but as the representation of all women, without giving importance to size, ethnicity or profession. Barbie therefore urges us to review a series of values and social stigmas that are part of our reality and that must change.
